John Hill is a native of Los Angeles, California. John received the Lord in 1977
after hearing about Jesus from the woman he would later marry. John received the
Lord at the Bethany Church of God in Christ in Atwater, California, under the
leadership of the late Pastor Elder J.D. Jeffery, State Secretary of The San Joaquin
Valley Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Inc.

At Bethany Church of God in Christ he held the position of Sunday school
Superintendent and various other offices in the church.

In 1979 John heard the call of Pastoral ship, but his season wasn’t until 1997.

In the fall of 1997 the Lord called John and Ann into the Shepherd Ministry to proclaim the
Kingdom of God.

In December 1997 God called John to Pastor a church in Turlock, California. The Lord
gave him the name of “Holy Ground Ministry.” The Lord has established a strong multinational congregation under their care. Pastor’s John and Dr Ann Hill calling and passion is to birth, educate, equip, build, activate and release men and women in their Kingdom calling to impact the multitudes with the love of God.

Pastor John Hill is the founder Shepherd and Overseer of Holy Ground Ministry Turlock, Delhi & Kerman.

John is married to his wife Ann and they have walked together in the Lord for 46 years. They have three children, their son John Edward and daughter LaToya & son Andres.
